Phone Call Recordings

Edited

Dealership Drive’s Phone Call Recording feature allows you to optionally record phone calls made from the Dealership Drive Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

Recorded phone calls help with logging conversations, taking notes, assisting with the preparation and process of follow-up calls, and can be used as phone call quality control and as a training tool to train employees or improve customer interaction.

Call Recording Guidelines

In order to record phone calls, you must obtain consent of one or more parties participating in the call. Please read our guidelines for recording phone calls and consult with your legal team before using this feature to ensure you are adhering to all telephone recording laws.

Obtaining Consent

You have the option of providing a recording disclaimer when the recipient answers the call, or you must personally inform the recipient when laws require it. The default disclaimer will state, "This call is being recorded for quality and training purposes."

If you choose to use the automated disclaimer rather than informing them personally, you can customize the disclaimer via your seller settings page.
